If you have noticed, I've been wearing my spectacles alot lately. Not that I like to wear my glasses...They irritate me, especially the pair above.
This particular pair has smudgy lenses that can't seem to disappear and it sits uncomfortably on my face.

But I have no choice. My eyes have been giving me problems lately. They get dry really easily and that hampers my vision. Wearing contact lenses for more than 4hours is hell on earth.

So since I hate the existing glasses with passion, I'm now shopping around for the perfect pair. I've had my eyes set on the Black Gallery Spectacles collection that based in Japan.
As the name suggests, all the spectacles are in black. They are very sleek and true to its Japanese design aesthetic, minimalist. Do check out its website at http://black-gallery.jp

Ahhh, I can't wait to get my GST offset package so I can finally say adios to the current wretched glasses.

i really HATE my current glasses too, they keep falling off my face. Can't wait for a new pair but there are so many other things to purchase!

you should check out the wooden glasses that seem to be pretty popular now... but those may be pretty short term in terms of investing (:

Hi Jo,

You can go to Vivocity. There is an optical shop on the first floor opposite GAP that stocks Black Gallery. But beware its way over priced.
Another shop will be at the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre. Its located near, ummm the cool toilet.

Obviously, I'm horrible at giving directions. So good luck!
